Dhaka Cleaners

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you might want to know before booking a cleaning service with Dhaka Cleaners.

General questions

How do I book a cleaning service with Dhaka Cleaners?

Call or WhatsApp us, send a message on Facebook Messenger, or fill in the quote form on this website. Tell us what needs cleaning, where the property is and when you would like the work done. We then agree the scope, price, date and time with you, and your booking is confirmed once we have both agreed them.

Is the quote free?

Yes. Quotes are free and there is no obligation to book. For most jobs we can quote from a short conversation and a few photos. For larger or unusual work, such as a whole office, a post-construction clean or a restaurant kitchen, we may suggest a quick site visit first so that the price is accurate.

How do you work out the price?

The price depends on the size and condition of the property, the scope of work, the equipment and materials needed and the number of cleaners required. Our online price estimator gives you a rough range, and we confirm the final price with you before any work starts. If extra work comes up on the day, we agree it with you before doing it.

What should I do before the cleaning team arrives?

Put away cash, jewellery, documents and other valuables, and move small fragile items out of the way. Let building management or security know we are coming, book the lift if your building requires it, and tell us about parking. Please make sure water and electricity are available, and point out any delicate surfaces, such as marble or wooden floors, when the team arrives.

Are your cleaning products safe for children and pets?

For routine cleaning we use household-grade products, choose the mildest option that will do the job and keep rooms ventilated while we work. We still recommend keeping young children and pets away from the areas being cleaned until floors and surfaces are dry. If anyone at home has allergies or asthma, tell us in advance and we will adjust the products where possible. Pest control needs extra care, and the team will explain how long to keep people and pets away from treated areas.

Can you clean on the same day?

Sometimes. Same-day visits are possible subject to team availability, so call or WhatsApp us as early in the day as you can. For deep cleaning, larger homes, offices and specialist jobs, booking a few days ahead gives us time to assign the right team and equipment.

How can I pay?

For most one-off jobs, payment is made after the work is finished and you have checked it with the team leader. We accept cash, bank transfer or popular mobile financial services — please confirm the payment method when booking. Payment terms for recurring and contract cleaning are agreed in advance.

Which areas of Dhaka do you cover?

We work across Dhaka city, including Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara, Uttara, Dhanmondi, Mohammadpur, Mirpur, Bashundhara, Badda, Rampura, Tejgaon, Motijheel and Old Dhaka, and nearby areas such as Savar, Keraniganj and Tongi. If you are not sure whether we reach your address, send us your location and we will confirm.

Do you bring your own equipment and cleaning materials?

Yes. Our teams usually bring everything the job needs, including vacuums, mops, cloths, brushes, ladders and cleaning agents, plus extraction or scrubbing machines for sofa, carpet and floor work. We only ask you to provide running water and electricity.

Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?

Yes. Please let us know as early as possible, and ideally at least 24 hours before the booked time, so that we can offer the slot to another customer and find you a new time that suits you.

What if I am not happy with part of the cleaning?

Please walk through the finished work with the team leader before the team leaves, so anything missed can be put right straight away. If you notice something later, tell us within 24 hours and we will arrange to check and fix it.

Do you offer regular or contract cleaning?

Yes. Homes and offices can book regular cleaning on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly schedule, and organisations can arrange long-term contract cleaning or the supply of trained cleaners. We agree the schedule, the tasks and the price in advance, and adjust them with you as your needs change.

Are your cleaners trained and supervised?

Yes. Our cleaners learn on the job alongside experienced colleagues, covering cleaning methods, the right product for each surface and the safe handling of chemicals. Each team works under a team leader who agrees priorities with you at the start and checks the finished work with you at the end.

Does someone need to be at home while you clean?

Ideally an adult is present when the team arrives, to agree priorities, and again at the end, to check the work. You do not need to watch the whole job. If nobody can be there, contact us before the booking so we can agree how the team will get in and how the final check will be done.

Do you work on Fridays and public holidays?

Bookings on Fridays and public holidays can often be arranged, subject to team availability. Please mention your preferred day when you ask for a quote, and book early around major holidays when demand is higher.

How do you handle my personal information?

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, deliver the service and keep the records a business needs. Photos you send are stored privately and seen only by our staff. We never sell your information. Our privacy policy page explains this in full.

Home Cleaning

Do I need to be at home during the cleaning?

It is best if an adult is there at the start to walk through the home with the team leader, and at the end to check the work. Many customers leave a family member or trusted household help at home in between. If nobody can be present, talk to us beforehand so we can agree how access and the final check will work.

Do I need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment?

No. The team brings its own vacuums, mops, cloths, ladders and cleaning agents. We only need running water and, ideally, a power socket for the vacuum.

How is home cleaning different from deep cleaning?

Home cleaning covers visible surfaces, floors, the kitchen and bathrooms to a thorough standard. Deep cleaning goes further: inside cabinets and wardrobes, grout and tile joints, behind and under movable furniture, and stubborn build-up. If your home has not been properly cleaned for several months, a deep clean is usually the better starting point.

How often should I book a home clean?

Many households find that once or twice a month keeps dust and kitchen grease under control, with daily tidying in between. Homes with small children, pets or family members with allergies may benefit from more frequent visits, and we can set up a recurring schedule if you prefer.

Are your cleaning products suitable for a home with children and pets?

We use household-grade products and keep rooms ventilated as we work. We suggest keeping young children and pets away from the room being cleaned until the floor is dry. Tell us about allergies or sensitivities and we will adjust the products where we can.

When do I pay?

Payment is made after the work is finished and you have checked it with the team leader. The amount is the price agreed in your quotation, plus any extra work you approved during the visit. We confirm the accepted payment methods when you book.

Deep Cleaning

How long does a deep clean take?

Most flats are finished in one full working day, while larger houses and heavily soiled properties can take longer or be split across two days. We give you an estimated duration with the quote, based on the size, the condition and the team we allocate.

What should I do before the team arrives?

Empty any cupboards, wardrobes or fridge you want cleaned inside, clear the worktops and put away valuables, cash and documents. Let us know about marble, wooden floors or other delicate surfaces. There is no need to do any cleaning yourself beforehand.

Can a deep clean remove all stains and mould?

Most grease, soap scum, limescale and surface mould improve greatly or come off completely. Some marks are permanent, such as etching on marble, stains absorbed deep into grout, or mould that has grown into plaster because of a leak — that needs the damp source repaired. We tell you honestly during the assessment what is likely to improve.

Can you deep clean while we are living in the home?

Yes. Most deep cleans are done in homes where the family is living, and we work room by room so you always have somewhere comfortable to be. An empty property is quicker to clean, so if you are moving, our move-in or move-out cleaning may suit you better.

How often should I get a deep clean?

For most households, once or twice a year works well — for example before Eid or after the monsoon — with routine or regular cleaning in between. Homes with heavy daily cooking, pets or construction work nearby may benefit from more frequent deep cleans.

Will you move heavy furniture?

We move furniture that can be shifted safely by hand, such as beds, sofas, tables and small cabinets, to clean underneath and behind. Very heavy or fixed pieces like full wardrobes and large showcases are cleaned around unless they have been emptied and can be moved safely.

Office Cleaning

Can you clean outside our office hours?

Yes. Most office work is scheduled early in the morning, in the evening or on your weekly holiday so staff are not disturbed. We agree the timing with you, and with building management if the building restricts access.

Do you clean computers and other equipment?

We dust and wipe the outside of monitors, keyboards, phones and desk equipment with a barely damp cloth. We do not unplug, open or move IT equipment, and we stay out of server rooms and restricted areas unless you ask us to clean them.

How do you handle security and confidential areas?

Our team follows your building's sign-in rules and works only in the areas you authorise. Papers left on desks are not read or rearranged, only moved carefully where cleaning requires it. You can also nominate a staff member to accompany the team in sensitive rooms.

Can we get daily or weekly office cleaning?

Yes. Alongside one-off visits we offer recurring schedules, from daily to weekly, based on an agreed checklist. If you would rather have a cleaner stationed at your office during working hours, ask about our cleaner supply or contract cleaning options.

Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?

Yes, the team brings its equipment and cleaning agents to every visit. Refilling washroom consumables such as tissue and hand soap can be included when you supply them, or discussed as part of a recurring arrangement.

What happens if something is missed?

Tell us, ideally on the same day, and we will arrange to put it right. For recurring clients we also review the checklist regularly, so any gap is fixed at the source rather than repeated.

Sofa Cleaning

How long does a sofa take to dry?

Fabric sofas usually feel dry to the touch within 4 to 8 hours, depending on the fabric, the room's ventilation and the humidity. A ceiling fan and open windows in dry weather speed this up. During the monsoon drying can take longer, so we suggest booking earlier in the day.

Will all the stains come out?

Most everyday stains from food, tea and general use lighten significantly or disappear. Old oil stains, ink, dye transfer, bleach marks and damage from earlier cleaning attempts may only fade or may be permanent. We inspect every stain before starting and tell you honestly what to expect.

Do you clean leather and rexine sofas?

Yes. Leather and leatherette are not suitable for wet extraction, so we clean them by hand with products suited to the surface and condition genuine leather afterwards. Cracked or peeling leatherette cannot be restored by cleaning, but it can still be cleaned carefully.

Is sofa shampooing safe with children and pets at home?

Our detergents are fabric-safe and low-residue, and the extraction machine rinses them back out of the fabric. Keep children and pets off the sofa until it is dry. If anyone at home has sensitive skin or allergies, let us know and we will choose products accordingly.

Do you take the sofa away to clean it?

No, all cleaning is done on site at your home or office. We only need a power socket nearby and access to water, and it helps if the space around the sofa is cleared before the team arrives.

How often should a sofa be professionally cleaned?

Every six to twelve months suits most homes. Households with young children, pets or allergy sufferers, and heavily used seating in offices or cafés, may benefit from cleaning every three to six months.

Carpet Cleaning

How long does a carpet take to dry?

Most carpets are dry within 4 to 12 hours, depending on the fibre, the thickness, ventilation and humidity. Fans and open windows in dry weather help a great deal. In the monsoon, drying takes longer, so morning appointments work best.

Do you clean rugs at my home or take them away?

We clean on site. Rugs are cleaned on a protected floor area, or on a balcony or rooftop where one is available, and wall-to-wall carpet is cleaned in place. Very delicate, antique or silk rugs may need a specialist workshop, and we will tell you if that is the case.

Can you remove pet urine smell?

We treat urine spots with an enzyme-based product and extract them thoroughly, which usually reduces the smell significantly. If urine has soaked into the underlay or the floor beneath, the odour can return in humid weather, and complete removal may not be possible.

Is it safe for children to play on the carpet afterwards?

Yes, once it is fully dry. We use low-residue shampoos and rinse them out during extraction, so very little product is left in the pile. If anyone at home has allergies or sensitive skin, tell us beforehand.

Can you clean our office carpet without disrupting work?

Yes. Office carpet cleaning is usually scheduled for the evening or the weekly holiday so it has time to dry before staff return. Large floors can be done in sections over several visits.

How often should carpets be cleaned?

Home rugs usually benefit from professional cleaning every six to twelve months, and more often in homes with pets or small children. Office carpet in busy areas is often cleaned every three to six months, with spot cleaning in between.

Mattress Cleaning

How long before I can sleep on the mattress?

Because we use a low-moisture method, most mattresses are dry enough to use within 6 to 8 hours. Thick mattresses, humid monsoon weather or a room without ventilation can extend this, so a morning booking with the fan running through the day works best.

Does mattress cleaning kill bed bugs?

No. Cleaning is not a pest treatment and should not be relied on for bed bugs. If you see signs of them, book pest control for the bed and room first, and we can clean the mattress after the treatment.

Can urine stains and smells be removed?

Fresh and moderate urine stains usually respond well to enzyme treatment and extraction, and the smell is reduced significantly. If urine has soaked deep into the filling over a long period, some staining or odour may remain, particularly in humid weather. A waterproof mattress protector helps prevent it happening again.

Is it safe for a child's or baby's mattress?

Yes. We use mild, low-residue products and extract them rather than leaving them in the fabric. Make sure the mattress is completely dry before your child sleeps on it, and tell us about any sensitivities in advance.

Do I need to remove the bedding first?

Please strip the sheets, mattress protector and pillows before the team arrives so we can start straight away. You do not need to lift or turn the mattress; our team will do that to clean the other side.

How often should a mattress be cleaned?

Every six to twelve months is a good routine for most households. Allergy sufferers, homes with young children or pets, and anyone who sweats heavily at night may benefit from more frequent cleaning.

Kitchen Cleaning

Can you remove years of oil build-up from tiles and cabinets?

In most kitchens, yes: thick grease responds well to degreaser given enough time and careful scrubbing. On older painted or laminated cabinets the finish underneath may already be damaged, and some turmeric-stained grout may stay slightly discoloured. We point these out during the assessment.

Do I need to empty the cabinets?

Only if you want them cleaned inside. Please move food, spices, utensils and crockery out of those cabinets and off the worktops before we arrive. The outside of every cabinet is cleaned either way.

Can I cook straight after the cleaning?

Yes, once the team has finished. Food-contact surfaces are rinsed with clean water after any strong product, and the stove is dried before the gas is turned back on. Give the floor a little time to dry before walking on it normally.

Do you clean kitchen hoods and exhaust fans?

We wipe the outside of the hood and exhaust fan as part of kitchen cleaning. Heavily greased filters and fan blades need to be dismantled and soaked, which is covered by our kitchen hood cleaning and exhaust fan cleaning services and can be added to the same visit.

Will kitchen cleaning get rid of cockroaches?

Cleaning removes the grease and food residue cockroaches feed on and clears some of their hiding places, but it does not eliminate an infestation. For that you need a pest control treatment, ideally scheduled just after the kitchen has been cleaned.

How often should a kitchen be professionally cleaned?

For a home kitchen used every day, a professional clean every two to three months keeps grease from building up heavily. Many families also book one before Eid or a large family gathering.

Bathroom Cleaning

Do I need to empty the bathroom before you arrive?

Please remove toiletries, towels, bath mats and anything on the floor or on open shelves. Items inside closed cabinets can stay where they are. This lets the team reach every surface without handling your personal belongings.

Can you remove the yellow and orange stains on my commode and tiles?

In most cases these stains, caused by minerals and iron in the water, can be lightened considerably or removed. Where the glaze or tile surface is worn, some staining may have settled into the material itself. We will look at it first and tell you what result is realistic before we begin.

Are your products safe for marble floors?

Acid-based descalers can etch marble and some natural stone, so we check your floor and vanity material first. On stone we use pH-neutral or stone-safe products and more scrubbing time instead of strong acids.

How soon can we use the bathroom after cleaning?

Usually straight away, once the team has rinsed and dried the surfaces. If a mould treatment has been applied to silicone or grout, we will tell you if it needs a little longer to dry. Leaving the door or window open helps the room dry faster.

How often should a bathroom be professionally cleaned?

Many households book a professional bathroom clean every two to three months, with simple weekly upkeep in between. Homes with very hard water, heavy use or poor ventilation may benefit from more frequent visits. Offices and schools often include washrooms in a regular or contract cleaning plan.

Do I pay before or after the work?

Payment terms are confirmed when you book. For most one-off home jobs, you check the finished work with the team and pay once it is completed.

Glass & Window Cleaning

Do you clean the outside of windows in high-rise flats?

We clean exterior glass wherever it can be reached safely from inside, from a balcony or from a stable ladder. Fixed panels on the outer face of a high-rise building need special access equipment and building management approval, so we assess them separately. If they cannot be cleaned safely, we will tell you honestly.

Can you clean the window grilles too?

Yes. Grilles are brushed to remove loose dust and then wiped down. Very ornate or rusty grilles take longer, so please mention them when you ask for a quote.

How long will the glass stay clean?

That depends on your street and the season. Near busy roads or building sites dust settles again within weeks, while sheltered windows stay clear much longer. Regular cleaning also stops hard-water marks from etching into the glass.

Can you remove cement or paint marks after renovation?

In most cases, yes. Fresh splashes are softened and scraped carefully, with the blade held at a low angle to avoid scratching. Old, hardened marks on tinted or coated glass need extra care, so we test a small area first.

Do I need to move furniture before you come?

Please clear window sills and move fragile items, curtains and small furniture away from the windows if you can. The team will help with light items and protects floors from drips.

Do you clean windows during the monsoon?

Interior glass can be cleaned in any weather. Exterior glass is best cleaned on a dry day, so during heavy rain we may suggest moving the exterior part of the job to another day.

Water Tank Cleaning

How long will our building be without water?

Usually for the few hours it takes to drain, clean, disinfect and refill the tank, plus the time your pump needs to fill it again. We plan the job with you so the shutdown is as short as practical. We also suggest storing water in advance for cooking, drinking and toilets.

How often should a water tank be cleaned?

Many buildings clean their tanks every six months, and once a year is a sensible minimum. Clean sooner if the water changes colour or smell, after flooding, or if insects or debris are found in the tank.

Is the disinfectant safe?

We use a chlorine-based disinfectant suited to water storage tanks, give it the contact time it needs and then rinse the tank before refilling. A faint chlorine smell for the first day is normal and fades as the water is used.

Will cleaning the tank make the water safe to drink?

Cleaning removes sediment and growth from the tank, but it cannot change the quality of the water entering your building. Continue to boil or filter drinking water as you normally would.

Do we need to be present during the cleaning?

Someone who can open the roof and reservoir access and operate the pump should be available at the start and end of the job. In apartment buildings this is usually the caretaker or a member of the building committee.

Can you clean plastic overhead tanks?

Yes. Plastic tanks are cleaned with softer brushes and without abrasive tools that could scratch the inner surface. They are often quicker to clean than concrete tanks.

Pest Control

Do we have to leave the flat during the treatment?

For gel bait treatments you can usually stay at home. For sprays, people and pets should keep out of the treated rooms while the work is done and until surfaces are dry, which is usually a few hours. The technician will give you the exact re-entry time for the products used.

Is pest control safe for children and pets?

We use products intended for indoor pest control, apply them according to label directions and place baits out of reach. Keep children and pets away from treated areas until they are dry, cover aquariums and move pet birds to another room. Please tell us about infants, pregnancy or anyone with asthma so we can adjust the method.

Why am I seeing more cockroaches after the treatment?

This is common in the first few days, because the treatment flushes cockroaches out of their hiding places. Avoid spraying your own insecticide over gel bait, as it can stop cockroaches from eating the bait. Activity should reduce over the following weeks.

How many visits does bed bug treatment need?

Bed bug eggs are not always affected by the first treatment, so a second visit is often needed to deal with newly hatched insects. We explain the plan and timing after inspecting your beds and furniture.

How should I prepare my kitchen?

For gel bait, simply clear the counters. For spray treatments, empty the cabinets to be treated, store food, utensils and toothbrushes in sealed containers or another room, and cover your water filter. The technician will confirm the details when you book.

How often should a restaurant have pest control?

Food businesses usually need a recurring programme rather than a one-off treatment, often monthly, because deliveries, waste and drains keep bringing in new pests. The frequency is agreed after an inspection of your kitchen, storage and waste areas.

Regular Cleaning

Will the same cleaner come every time?

We try to send the same cleaners on each visit so they get to know your home or office. Occasionally a different team member may come because of leave or illness, and they follow the same written checklist.

Do I need to be at home during the visits?

No, as long as access is arranged, for example through the building guard or a family member. Many clients are at work during visits. Please keep valuables locked away and tell us about any rooms that should not be entered.

Do you bring your own equipment and products?

Yes, the team brings its own equipment and cleaning products. If you prefer particular products, for example for a wooden floor or because of allergies, we can use yours instead.

Can I change or pause the schedule?

Yes. You can change the day, add tasks, increase or reduce the frequency, or pause visits while you travel, with reasonable notice. Visits around Eid and other public holidays are subject to team availability.

What is not included in a regular visit?

Regular visits cover day-to-day cleaning. Heavy work such as descaling badly stained bathrooms, degreasing kitchen hoods, shampooing sofas or cleaning water tanks is booked separately, so it does not take time away from your routine checklist.

How is payment handled?

Payment terms are agreed when your plan starts. Regular plans are usually billed per visit or monthly, and the terms are confirmed in writing with your quote.

Contract Cleaning

What is the minimum contract length?

The contract length and notice period are agreed with each client, based on the site and the scope. Ask during the survey and we will explain the options for your premises before anything is signed.

Who supplies cleaning products and consumables?

We supply the cleaning equipment and products needed for the agreed scope. Consumables such as toilet paper, hand soap, tissues and bin liners can be supplied by you or included in the contract, and this is written into the scope.

Can cleaning be done outside our working hours?

Yes. Most contracts schedule cleaning before opening, after closing or in shifts that avoid busy periods. Access and security arrangements for those hours are agreed with you in advance.

What happens if a cleaner is absent?

Absence and leave cover are part of the contract, so the agreed tasks continue. If there is ever a gap, your named contact will tell you and arrange a solution.

How do we report a problem with the cleaning?

You have a named contact for requests and complaints, and supervisors check the work against the scope. Issues can also be raised at the regular review meetings, where the scope can be adjusted if your needs change.

Can you take over from our current cleaning provider?

Yes. We carry out a site survey, prepare a scope based on your current and desired standards, and plan the start date around the end of your existing arrangement to avoid any gap in cleaning.

Cleaner Supply Service

Who do the cleaners take instructions from?

Day-to-day instructions come from the person you nominate at your site, such as an administrator or facility manager. Our supervisor remains responsible for attendance, conduct, cover and performance issues, so any concerns can be raised with them.

What happens if a cleaner is absent or on leave?

Cover arrangements are agreed in advance as part of the staffing plan. When a cleaner is on leave or absent, we arrange a replacement according to those terms and keep your contact informed.

Can we ask for a different cleaner?

Yes. If a placed cleaner is not the right fit, tell our supervisor and explain the concern. We will discuss it with you and arrange a replacement where appropriate.

Do you supply equipment and products as well?

We can, or you can provide your own. The staffing plan sets out who supplies equipment, cleaning products and consumables such as tissue and soap, so there is no confusion later.

Can we increase the number of cleaners later?

Yes. Staff numbers and shifts can be increased or reduced as your needs change, with the notice agreed in your arrangement. Short-term extra cleaners for events or busy periods can also be discussed, subject to availability.

Are the cleaners trained?

Cleaners are briefed before placement on safe product use, hygiene practice, wet-floor safety and workplace conduct, and receive a site induction when they start. Specialised requirements, such as hospital procedures or floor machine operation, are discussed and arranged before placement.

Floor Cleaning

Do I need to move furniture before the floor cleaning?

Please move fragile items, rugs and anything stored on the floor. Our team can shift light furniture such as chairs and side tables, but heavy wardrobes, beds and cabinets are usually cleaned around unless we agree otherwise beforehand.

How long does the floor take to dry?

Most floors are dry enough to walk on within one to two hours, depending on ventilation, humidity and the floor type. During the monsoon it can take longer, so running fans and opening windows helps.

Will the cleaning remove every stain?

Most dirt, grime and surface marks come off, but some stains are permanent, for example rust marks, acid etching on marble or deep discolouration in old mosaic. We point these out before starting so you know what to expect.

Are your products safe for marble floors?

Yes. We use pH-neutral, stone-safe cleaners on marble and granite and avoid acidic or abrasive products that can dull or etch the surface. If your floor has a sealer or any special treatment, please tell us in advance.

Is floor cleaning the same as floor polishing?

No. Floor cleaning removes dirt and restores a fresh, clean surface. Polishing uses a machine and polishing pads to bring back the shine on stone and mosaic floors, and is booked as a separate service.

Do I pay before or after the work?

The price is agreed after the assessment and before work begins. Payment is usually made once the job is complete and you have checked the floors with the team leader; larger commercial jobs follow the terms in the quotation.

Floor Scrubbing & Polishing

Will polishing remove scratches from my marble floor?

Polishing improves light scuffs and brings back shine, but deep scratches, chips and heavy etching need grinding and re-surfacing, which is a restoration job. We check the floor and do a test patch first, so you know what result to expect before we start.

Can you polish old mosaic floors?

Yes. Mosaic usually responds well to machine scrubbing and polishing, which lifts ingrained dirt and brings out the colour of the stone chips. Very worn or cracked mosaic may need professional grinding, and we will tell you if that is the case.

How soon can we walk on the floor?

Most floors can be walked on carefully once they are dry, usually within an hour or two. If a sealer or polish is applied, we will tell you how long to wait before moving furniture back or allowing heavy use.

Is the machine noisy?

The rotary machine makes a steady hum, similar to a large vacuum cleaner. In apartment buildings we work within the hours allowed by building management, and for offices and showrooms we often work outside business hours.

How often should a floor be polished?

It depends on foot traffic. Homes often need it only once or twice a year, while showrooms, bank halls and busy receptions may benefit from a more frequent schedule. Good daily care with dry mopping and neutral cleaners makes the shine last longer.

Do you need electricity at the property?

Yes, the machines run from an ordinary power socket. If power cuts are common in your building, let us know whether there is generator backup so we can plan the work around it.

Kitchen Hood Cleaning

How often should a kitchen hood be cleaned?

For a home kitchen, a professional clean every few months is usually enough if you wash the filters yourself in between, though heavy frying calls for more frequent cleaning. Busy restaurant kitchens need a regular schedule based on how much cooking they do.

Do you clean auto-clean chimneys?

Yes. Auto-clean chimneys still collect grease on internal surfaces and in the oil collector, which the auto-clean function does not fully remove. We clean the reachable internal parts without opening sealed electrical components.

Can I cook straight after the cleaning?

Yes, once we have rinsed the surfaces, refitted the filters and checked that the hood is working. The gas only needs to stay off while the work is in progress.

Do you replace filters or repair motors?

We clean metal baffle and mesh filters but do not supply parts or repair motors and wiring. If a filter is damaged, a charcoal filter needs replacing or the motor sounds faulty, we will point it out so you can contact the manufacturer or a technician.

Is the degreaser safe near food?

We use degreasers suitable for kitchens and rinse every surface afterwards. Please put away open food, utensils and spices before we start, and keep children and pets out of the kitchen while we work.

Can you clean a restaurant hood without closing the restaurant?

In most cases we work after closing time or before morning prep, so service is not interrupted. The burners must be off and cool, so a hood cannot be cleaned while cooking is under way.

Exhaust Fan Cleaning

Do you take the fan off the wall?

Where the fan is designed to be removed and it is safe to do so, yes, because cleaning the blades off the wall gives a much better result. Some fixed or sealed units are cleaned in place with the power switched off.

My fan is very noisy. Will cleaning fix it?

If the noise comes from grease weighing down the blades or sticky shutters, cleaning often helps. If the bearings or motor are worn, cleaning will not solve it, and we will suggest having an electrician check the fan.

Can you clean a fan behind a window grill?

Usually, yes. Many fans in Dhaka flats are set into a window or behind a grill, and our team can often reach them from inside using ladders. If a fan can only be reached from outside the building, we will explain what is and is not possible before quoting.

How often should kitchen exhaust fans be cleaned?

In homes with daily frying, a professional clean every few months stops grease from hardening. Restaurant exhaust fans usually need cleaning much more often, depending on cooking volume and the type of food.

Do I need to be at home while you clean?

Someone should be there to let the team in, show us the switches or breaker and check the fans with us at the end. You do not need to stay in the room while the work is being done.

Is the kitchen safe to use afterwards?

Yes. Surfaces are rinsed after degreasing, and the fan is dried and tested before we leave, so you can cook as normal once we have finished.

Duct Cleaning

Do you clean the whole duct system?

We clean every section that can be reached safely through existing grilles, diffusers and access panels. During the survey we show you which sections are accessible, so the scope in the quotation is clear before work starts.

Do you service the air-conditioning units as well?

No. We clean ducts, grilles and diffusers, but refrigerant, electrical and mechanical servicing should be done by your AC contractor. We are happy to coordinate timing with them.

How often should ducts be cleaned?

It depends on the building and how the system is used. Kitchen extraction ducts in busy restaurants need regular cleaning because grease builds up quickly, while office AC ducts usually need it less often; your facility team or contractor can advise based on filter condition and inspections.

Will duct cleaning make a mess in the office?

We cover furniture, equipment and floors below each work area and use filtered vacuums to capture dust. The area is cleaned before we leave, and most commercial clients book the work outside business hours.

Does the system need to be switched off?

Yes. The AC or extraction system must be off while we work on it, which is why most jobs are scheduled at night, at weekends or after a restaurant closes.

Can you clean ducts in a home?

Our duct cleaning is designed mainly for commercial systems. In most homes, kitchen hood and exhaust fan cleaning covers the parts that actually collect grease and dust; if your home has ducted air-conditioning, contact us and we will check whether it can be cleaned safely.

Move-In Cleaning

When should I book move-in cleaning?

Ideally a day or two before your furniture arrives, once the previous occupants have left and water and electricity are working. Dates around the start of the month can be busy, so booking early helps.

Do I need to be there during the cleaning?

Not for the whole job. Someone should let the team in, show us around and check the result at the end, but you can hand the keys to a caretaker or family member if you are busy with the move.

Can you clean a newly built flat?

Yes. If the flat only has general construction dust, move-in cleaning is usually enough. If there are cement, paint or adhesive marks on floors, tiles and fittings, post-construction cleaning is the better choice, and we will advise after seeing photos or the property.

Do you clean inside kitchen cabinets and wardrobes?

Yes. Cleaning inside cabinets, drawers, wardrobes and built-in storage is one of the main reasons to clean before moving in, and it is included as standard.

Can you do pest control at the same time?

Pest control and water tank cleaning can often be arranged around the same move-in date, subject to team availability. Pest treatment usually works best once cleaning is finished, and we will advise on the right order.

When do I pay?

The price is agreed before work starts. Payment is usually made after the job is finished and you or your representative have checked the property.

Move-Out Cleaning

Will move-out cleaning help me get my advance back?

A clean property removes the most common cleaning complaints at handover, but the return of an advance or deposit depends on your agreement and the landlord's inspection. We cannot guarantee the outcome, and cleaning does not cover repairs or repainting.

Should the property be empty when you arrive?

Ideally, yes. We get the best result once furniture and boxes have been removed, because that is when the areas behind and under them can be cleaned. If a few items will remain, let us know so we can plan around them.

Can you remove marks from the walls?

We clean surface marks such as fingerprints, scuffs and light stains where the paint allows. Some paints mark or lose their finish when scrubbed, so we test first, and deep stains, damp patches or damaged paint will need repainting.

Do you take away rubbish left behind?

We bag light packing debris such as tape, paper and small cartons and take it to the building's waste collection point where that is allowed. Furniture, large items and bulk rubbish need to be removed separately before our visit.

Can the landlord check the work with you?

Yes. If you cannot be there, the landlord, caretaker or your representative can do the final walk-through with the team leader before the keys are handed back.

How far in advance should I book?

Booking a few days ahead is best, especially for the last days of the month, when many moves take place. Short-notice or same-day cleaning may be possible, subject to team availability.

Post-Construction Cleaning

When should I book post-construction cleaning?

Book it once every trade has finished, including painters, electricians and furniture installers. If work is still going on, fresh dust settles on cleaned surfaces and part of the job has to be repeated. When a deadline makes that impossible, we can split the work into a rough clean now and a final detail clean just before handover.

Do you take away construction rubble?

We bag and remove light debris such as packaging, offcuts and swept-up dust. Bulk rubble, leftover tiles, sand and cement bags should be cleared by your contractor unless their removal is agreed in your quotation, because disposal depends on the quantity and the building's rules.

Can paint and cement marks be removed without damaging new tiles or glass?

In most cases, yes. We test on a hidden area first, hold fresh blades flat against glass and choose removers suited to each surface. Marks that have been left for months or have etched into natural stone may not come off completely, and we will tell you honestly during the assessment.

Do we need water and electricity on site?

Yes. Our vacuum cleaners and scrubbing machines need working power sockets, and wet cleaning needs running water. If the supply or the lift in a new building is not yet in regular use, please tell us when booking so we can plan the job and the team size around it.

How long does post-construction cleaning take?

It depends on the size of the property and how much residue is left. A typical flat is usually finished in a day, while larger houses, offices and heavily marked sites can take two days or more. The expected duration is confirmed in your quote after the assessment.

Do I need to be present during the clean?

It helps if you or your site representative can meet the team at the start to point out priorities, and return for the final walkthrough. In between, a caretaker or security guard can provide access, as long as the arrangement has been agreed with you and the building management in advance.

Commercial Cleaning

Can you clean outside our business hours?

Yes. Most commercial cleaning is done early in the morning, in the evening or on your weekly closing day, subject to building access rules and team availability. We agree fixed time windows in your schedule so your security staff know when to expect the team.

Do you supply cleaning materials and washroom consumables?

We bring our own equipment and cleaning agents. Consumables such as toilet paper, hand soap and bin liners are normally provided by you, but supplying them can be discussed and added to the quotation if you prefer.

What is the difference between commercial cleaning and contract cleaning?

Commercial cleaning describes what is cleaned: business premises and their shared areas. Contract cleaning describes how it is arranged: a long-term agreement with a fixed schedule, assigned staff and monthly billing. Many clients start with a one-off commercial clean and move to a contract once the scope is settled.

How do you handle confidential areas and valuables?

Please lock away cash, confidential files and personal items before we arrive. Our cleaners work only in the areas agreed in the schedule, and rooms you consider sensitive can be cleaned only while a member of your staff is present.

Can you clean the common areas of a whole commercial building?

Yes. Lobbies, stairwells, lifts, corridors, shared washrooms and car parks can be cleaned under one plan agreed with the owner or management committee. Individual tenants can arrange cleaning of their own floors separately with the same team if they wish.

How is payment arranged?

Payment terms are set out in your quotation before any work begins. One-off jobs are usually paid once the work is finished and checked, while regular schedules are usually billed monthly.

Restaurant Cleaning

Can you clean after we close at night?

Yes. Most restaurant cleaning is done after the last service or in the early morning, subject to team availability and building access. We agree start and finish times with you so the kitchen is ready for the next day's preparation.

Is it safe to start cooking straight after the clean?

Food-contact surfaces are finished with food-safe products and rinsed where the product requires it, and floors are left dry. We recommend that your staff check the kitchen and let surfaces dry fully before starting food preparation.

Do you clean kitchen hoods and exhaust ducts?

Hood exteriors and removable filters are included in restaurant cleaning. Cleaning inside the hood, the duct and the exhaust fan is a more involved job covered by our kitchen hood and exhaust fan cleaning services, which can be booked for the same visit.

Will a deep clean get rid of cockroaches?

A thorough clean removes the grease and food residue that pests feed on and makes treatment more effective, but it will not eliminate an established infestation on its own. For that we recommend pest control, ideally scheduled straight after the deep clean.

How often should a restaurant kitchen be deep cleaned?

It depends on your menu and volume; kitchens that fry a lot need attention more often than those that mainly bake or grill. After seeing your kitchen we can suggest a sensible schedule to run alongside the daily cleaning your own staff carry out.

Do we need to empty fridges and store rooms?

Not for exterior cleaning. If you want fridges, freezers or store rooms cleaned inside, please empty them and keep the food at a safe temperature elsewhere. In every case, please put away open food, spices and utensils before the team starts.

School Cleaning

Can the cleaning be done without disturbing classes?

Yes. Routine cleaning is done after classes, and heavier work is planned for weekends and holidays. If toilets need attention during school hours, we can discuss a daytime cleaner through our cleaner supply service.

Are your cleaning products safe around children?

We use products at the recommended dilution, keep stronger cleaners for toilets only and never leave chemicals where children can reach them. Rooms are ventilated and dry before students return. If a student has a known allergy or asthma, tell us and we will adjust the products used in that area.

When is the best time for a deep clean?

Term breaks, Eid holidays and the winter vacation give enough time for floor scrubbing, fan cleaning and proper drying. Holiday weeks tend to be busy, so booking early helps, subject to team availability.

Do you clean school water tanks?

Water tank cleaning is a separate service that can be booked together with a holiday deep clean. Because students drink from the supply, cleaning the tanks before a new term is a sensible routine.

Can you help with mosquitoes and other pests?

During routine work our cleaners clear litter and empty any standing water they find in drains, flower tubs and on rooftops, and report anything they cannot fix. For mosquito, cockroach or rodent treatment, we recommend arranging pest control during a holiday when the campus is empty.

Can you provide cleaners on a long-term basis?

Yes. Through our contract cleaning and cleaner supply services, cleaners can be assigned to your campus on an agreed schedule, with the terms set out in writing.

Hospital & Institution Cleaning

Will your cleaners follow our infection-control procedures?

Yes. Before starting, we review your procedures, approved disinfectants and waste-segregation system with your team and brief our cleaners on them. Where your procedures differ from our usual method, yours take priority.

Do you handle clinical or medical waste?

Our cleaners do not handle sharps or open clinical waste. Segregation at source and disposal through your authorised waste arrangement remain the facility's responsibility. We empty and reline general waste bins and, if your procedures allow, move sealed and labelled bags to your holding area.

Can you clean operating theatres or intensive care units?

These are specialised areas with strict protocols. We only take them on when agreed in writing, with cleaners trained to your protocol and supervised by your clinical staff. Most facilities use us for public, administrative, outpatient and ward areas.

Can you provide cleaners for night shifts or round-the-clock cover?

Rostered cleaners for day and night shifts can be arranged through our contract cleaning or cleaner supply services, with numbers and supervision agreed with your administration.

How do you avoid disturbing patients?

Noisy tasks such as machine scrubbing are planned for quieter hours, corridors are cleaned in sections with wet-floor signs so they stay usable, and cleaners knock and wait before entering patient rooms. Patient privacy and rest come before the cleaning schedule.

Can you do a one-off deep clean before an inspection or after renovation?

Yes. We can plan a deep clean, including dust removal and floor scrubbing, around the areas that must stay open to patients. Tell us the date you are working towards and we will suggest a realistic plan, subject to team availability.

Bank Cleaning

How do you work with branch security?

We agree with the branch manager and security in-charge which areas are cleaned, at what times and under whose supervision. Cleaner details can be shared in advance, and vaults, strong rooms and cash areas are entered only at the branch's request with bank staff present.

Can you clean ATM booths separately?

Yes. ATM booths can be included in the branch routine or cleaned on separate rounds at quiet times, including booths located away from the branch. How often each booth is cleaned is agreed with the bank according to how busy it is.

Will cleaning disturb customers during banking hours?

The main cleaning is done before the branch opens or after the counters close. If you want a daytime cleaner to look after washrooms and spills, they work discreetly and stay clear of customer queues and counter areas.

What happens to waste paper and confidential documents?

Our cleaners do not read, move or sort papers on desks. Waste paper is handled the way your branch requires, and if confidential paper is shredded by bank staff, we empty bins only after that has been done.

Can you clean several branches to the same standard?

Yes. The same checklist can be used at every branch, with a schedule set for each one. Coverage of branches in different parts of Dhaka is planned together with you, subject to team availability.

When should a deep clean be done?

Weekends and bank holidays are best, when the branch is closed and floors can be scrubbed, polished and dried, and glass cleaned, without customers present.

Showroom Cleaning

Can you clean when the showroom is closed?

Yes. Most showroom cleaning is done before opening, after closing or on your weekly closing day, subject to team availability. In shopping malls we work within the hours the mall management allows.

Will your team move our stock?

Only with your staff's direction. Ideally your team removes fragile or high-value items from displays before we start; otherwise we clean carefully around them and leave everything as we found it.

Can you remove tyre marks and scuffs from showroom floors?

Most tyre marks and scuffs come off with machine scrubbing and a floor cleaner suited to the surface. Floors that are worn or deeply stained may need our floor scrubbing and polishing service to bring back their finish.

How often should shopfront glass be cleaned?

It depends on your location. Shops on busy roads collect dust and fingerprints quickly, so they usually need a quick daily wipe by staff as well as regular professional cleaning. After seeing your premises we can suggest a practical frequency.

Can you do a deep clean before a launch or sale?

Yes. A one-off deep clean before an opening, a relaunch or the Eid shopping season is often worthwhile. Let us know your date early so we can plan the team, subject to team availability.

Is cleaning safe for electronics and powered displays?

Liquids are applied to the cloth, never sprayed onto devices, and screens are wiped with soft cloths and suitable cleaners. Where your staff advise it, powered displays are switched off before cleaning.
